I'm not your average professional.
I don't believe in hierarchies. I don't believe you have to go to college, or even school, to make a successful living in today's society. That being said, I do believe it takes hard work & diligence efforts, with a fiery curiosity for the endless possibilities in life, to create the life you want to live. Believe it or not, we all have the same 24 hours in a day, your life is what you make it! I believe that we each write our own stories & are walking our own paths. You simply cannot compare where you are to anyone else's journey, because theirs is not your journey. I'm excited to get to know you, I want to work with you, I want to help you on your journey to health & happiness! The most wonderful part is that I am on my own journey & I want you to get to know me too. When you work with me we will become great friends & ride these crazy awesome waves of life together! I definitely consider myself a working professional & I feel confident in my background & education, even if I do go about my business & life in a sort of non-traditional way. You CAN do anything you want to in this life! So why not dream big??
Hi! I'm Courtney & I am the gal working it all behind Health for Happiness. Thank you for being here & checking out my site! I really am flattered that you're here, learning a little more about me. I hope to have the opportunity to get to know you soon as well!
I have so many interests in this life, but my top passions lie in a holistic blend of fitness, food, yoga, roller skating & travel. I believe in natural health & loving yourself! I grew up in a farm town about an hour north of Seattle raised on white bread, meat, & potatoes. After graduating with an AOS in Culinary Arts from the Western Culinary Institute of Portland, OR in 2009 I found myself working hard to accomplish my own weight loss goals. That's when I decided to attend the National Personal Training Institute of Portland to be able to help others accomplish their individual fitness goals. I have been a certified personal trainer since October 2012 & from there the unfolding has continued. I received my 200hr YTT in March 2015 on a 3-week nature retreat in Costa Rica. Read more about me & my business in this interview from Life Done Write.
I've come a long way in life, I've learned so much, & I will always be learning, growing, & sharing. Healthy living is a lifestyle, a habit you must patiently cultivate. There's no secret: it may not be easy to obtain, but it will absolutely be worth it. You can count on me to help guide & inspire your journey, so we can ride the crazy awesome roller coaster of life together!
